Pubs and Restaurants
Monmouthshire is rightly famous for extending a hospitable welcome to all visitors. More recently inspired by the Slow Cooking Movement and the ready availability of high quality locally sourced and seasonal foodstuffs, the area has seen the rise of a new generation of renowned country inns and restaurants. The following establishments are only a short distance from Trevyr Barn:
In the centre of Grosmont village is The Angel Inn, our friendly local, offering lunches and evening meals and a great selection of local ales and ciders. Gentle Jane offers light lunches and teas using local produce.
Other local pubs offering great food and drink include: The Moon at Garway, The Hunter's Moon at Llangatock Lingoed, The Cottage of Content (Carey) and The Crown at Pantygelli.
